Sgurr a'Mhaim & Am Bodach From Glen Nevis

The Devils Ridge From Glen Nevis is a route in “The Mamores” region / range which is located in the Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a mainly circular route but there are parts where you need to retrace your footsteps

Sgurr a' Mhaim is probably best known as the first or last peak of the “Ring of Steall”, this route takes in this peak & Am Bodach along with the Devils Ridge. Its the western munros of The Ring of Steall route from Glen Nevis.

The route heads up the north western nose of the first munro Sgurr a' Mhaim from Glen Nevis onto an excellent ridge known as "The Devils Ridge" leading a couple of minor tops onto the munro Am Bodach. The decent is down into Coire a' Mhusgail from the minror top "Sgor an Iubhair" which used to be a munro to return to Glen Nevis.

The Devil’s Ridge is a one kilometre undulating ridge with a few exposed sections. There are no particularly difficult moves on this section unless the path is covered in snow, the route should be avoided in high winds.
