Sgurr Eilde Mor from Kinlochleven is a route in “The Mamores” region / range which is located in the Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

A route over Sgurr Eilde Mor the most remote of The Mamores which lies between Glen Nevis and Kinlochleven. The hill stands away from the main ridge with a long approach to reach the scree ridden summit point. The route starts from Kinlochleven / Mamore Lodge and on a landrover track then stalkers path leads up to the beautiful "Coire Lochain" high below the southern ridge of Sgurr Eilde Mor where stalkers path is left behind.

The summit point is reached via a steep scree slope on southern ridge which looks worse than it is for the last 270 metres
