Meall nan Tarmachan and the Tarmachan Ridge is a route in “The Ben Lawers” region / range which is located in the Loch Tay to Loch Rannoch area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a circular route

Meall nan Tarmachan is one of the easiest munros to reach due to a high level start point, but it is really just the start of a rocky ridge traverse of Tarmachan Ridge which is one of the most interesting in the Southern Highlands. The route only contains a single munro but also contains numerous tops with some impressive craggy faces.
