Binnein Beag & Binnein Mor

Eastern Mamores is a route in “The Mamores” region / range which is located in the Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a circular route

This route covers 2 munros which lie on the eastern end of The Mamore Ridge. The routes approach is from Kinlochleven along a land rover track east of the lodge and then onto stalker path onto a high bealach which is then left to climb the 2 summit points firstly Binnein Beag then return to the bealach and climb Binnein More; then return to Mamore Lodge.

Binnein Beag is in a somewhat isolated position rising above Glen Nevis making it a good viewpoint of Ben Nevis's impressive northeastern Buttress.

Binnein Mor is the finest & highest peak of the Mamores and forms a classic shaped mountain

Distance: 14km / 8 miles
Ascent: 1580m / 5184 feet
Time: 7 hours plus
