Carn Ghluasaid, Sgurr nan Conbhairean & Sail Chaorainn is a route in “The Five Sisters of Kintail” region / range which is located in the Glen Affric and Kintail area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a mainly circular route but there are parts where you need to retrace your footsteps

This route is a medium length route which covers Carn Ghluasaid, Sgurr nan Conbhairean & Sail Chaorainn which lie at the eastern end of a long chain of munros to the north of Glen Shiel. This is quite a moderate route with steep grassy slopes and rocky ridges on the northern side of Glen Shiel high above Loch Cluanie.

This is a very quite area of the highlands and you'll be lucky if you see a soul on these hills even if other cars are parked at the starting point.

Ascent: 1100m / 3609 feet
