Ben Volich (Loch Lomond) is a route in “The Arrochar Alps” region / range which is located in the Loch Lomond to Loch Tay area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.
This is a mainly circular route but there are parts where you need to retrace your footstepsBen Vorlich is a steep sided mountain much like it's neighbour Ben Vane. Follow the road upto Loch Sloy and steep ascent up grassy slopes returning via the long southeast ridge which is a steep descent.
Distance: 14km / 8 miles
Ascent: 940m / 3084 feet
Time: 4 hours plus
