Ben Starav Munros is a route in “The Etive” region / range which is located in the Strath Orchy to Loch Leven area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a circular route

These 3 hills sit in some splendid isolated countryside on the south-western end of Glen Etive. Ben Starav stands it's full height (10078 metres) having a long north eastern ridge (approx 3km long) rising from sea level to the summit from where these hills are accessed.

The route can be shortened by missing out Beinn nan Aighenan. However this munro is quite remote and may as will be climbed here otherwise it's a long outing for the single munro.

Tackling these 3 hills in one outing is a long satisfying day and has a lot of metres to climb.

The hills are charaterised by deep glens and large exposures of rough Etive granite. There is no safe crossing of the River Etive until Coileitir and the distance from Bridge of Awe is 30km.
