Ben More Assynt & Conival is a route in “The Inchnadamph” region / range which is located in the Coigach to Cape Wrath area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

On this route you return by same way

Two northern Munros Ben More Assynt & Conival

These are rough, rocky peaks on their upper slopes covered with angular quartzite stones & scree giving rough walking. It is quite a moderate route starting on a good path to start with which gets boggy further up turning into breif easy scambling onto the col giving an excellent days outing.

The sharp arête is quite tricky to negotiate in places and has been flatteringly compared to the Aonach Eagach, with several unexpectedly awkward moves across exposed slabs requiring care (especially when wet).

Distance: 18km / 11 miles
Ascent: 1200m / 3938 feet
Time: 6 hours plus
