Ben Cruachan and Stob Diamh is a route in “The Cruachan” region / range which is located in the Strath Orchy to Loch Leven area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a circular route

Ben Cruachan & Stob Diamh is a classic horseshoe around Cruachan Reservoir. This is a moderate climb around the ridges at the head of the Cruachan Reservoir taking in the 2 munros Ben Cruachan and Stob Diamh.

For the fit and keen walker the single Corbett Beinn a'Bhuiridh can be included in the round of Stob Diamh and Ben Cruachan but if you are including all the Munro Tops it makes for a long day.

An excellent day out with the reward of a fine ridge walk and views west to Mull as well as the usual inspiring views to north, east and south.
