Ben Challum is a route in “The Glen Lochay” region / range which is located in the Loch Tay to Loch Rannoch area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

An interesting ascent starting at the road end in Glen Lochay, this gives the chance to view the more noteworthy northern side of the mountain but involves a nine kilometre walk / cycle up the glen to the foot of the pathless eastern ridge.

Ascent: 830m / 2724 feet
Time: 6 hours plus

The only difficulies are if descending in bad visibility you need to head to NN39993247 which is the top of the steep section leading down.
