Loch Hourn's Northern Munro

Beinn Sgritheall is a route in “The Hourn” region / range which is located in the Loch Eil to Glen Shiel area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a route between two seperate points

This quite short day is over the grand peak called Beinn Sgritheall which dominates the Glenelg peninsuala. It's a full traverse of the munro starts from the tiny hamlet of Arnisdale and then a steep climb upto the Bealach Arnasdale onto the eastern top where the summit can be reached.Then follow ridge to the west of summit (marked with Trig. Point) and dropping over a couple of rocky towers down to Locahan Bhealach Rarsaidh, continuing to descend to join the road back to Arnisdale.

Ascent: 1020m / 3347 feet
Time: 3 hours plus
