This quite short route takes you over the two westerly munros of Loch Laggin just to the north of the dam. The walk starts up the forest road from the side of Loch Laggan, then through the forest which opens up onto Beinn a'Chaorainn southern slopes. Beinn a'Chaorainn is the finer of the 2 munros and has 3 tops of similar height and a great looking eastern corrie.

There are good view on a clear day from Beinn a'Chaorainn's summit down to the fine eastern corries and across to the munro Creag Meagaidh.

This route covers two munros which lie on a fairly level range and are climbed in an east to west traverse. Starting the ridge from Carn Liath gives the walker ample time to study the splendid north bounding wall of Coire Ardair weather permitting.

Starting from the farm head to the right of the buildings following a track that leads up to Lochan a' Choire and leave the main path and follow a narrow path up the side of Na Cnapanan then onto Carn Liath. Once on the ridge after a bit a line of rusty fence marks the correct line of way for much of the way easing navigation over numerous top onto the other munro Stob Poite Coire Ardair.

Decsent is by the bealach "The Window" down to Lochan a' Choire and back on a well contructed path.

A good route traversing one of Scotland's finest mountains Creag Meagaidh which is most famed for the cliffs surrounding the corrie of Coire Ardair on the north-eastern face. It is a complex mountain, taking the form of a flat summit plateau from which five ridges radiate enclosing some very fine corries.

Our route starts off along well constructed paths up to Lochan a'Choire then over steep rocky ground onto a bealach, continuing up steep grass slopes onto grassy plateau ridge to the summit. Descending via the eastern ridge around Coire Ardair taking in the 2 tops Puist Coire Ardair & Sron a' Choire along route.

There are good views down to Coire Ardair whilst on the ridge.

Long route over 3 munros covering the whole eastern section of the Monadhliath hills above Newtonmore. All the munros on this route give a real sence of remoteness due to the fact they aren't the most popular of hills for the budding munroist to climb. This is a long demanding route over a high level plateau which is a featureless expanse of moss, grass & stones in places.

Quite a straightforward route over the most westerly of Monadhliath Hills. The route is a complete traverse of Geal Charn ascending from the east via Glen Markie and descending down the south-western side down Garva Bridge to return by a road walk. Geal Charn's summit point at 926 metres is marked with a huge cairn which is quite impressive for such a quite hill.

Possibly the use of a bike maybe useful but the walk back isn't so far and the road isn't the busiest.
