South Shiel Ridge is an region in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Eil to Glen Shiel as defined by SMC

There are 7 munros around here. The highest munro is Aonach air Chrith at a height of 1021 metres .The smallest munro is Creag nan Damh at a height of 918 metres .

The South Sheil Ridge some times called The South Cluanie Ridge attracts many a Munro bagger. These mountains on the Southern site are joined by one long ridge stretching from Craig nan Damh on the West to Craig a' Mhaim on the East.

The whole ridge can be completed in a single outing. It is also possible to split into two by descending Maol Chinn-dearg, this is approx halfway.
