Loch Ossian is narrow loch that is about 5 km long on the north eastern edge of Rannoch Moor, on The Corrour Estate and rising above it in all directions are remote munros.

Loch Ossian is quite remote from public roads, and the nearest access is from Corrour railway station or to use a bike.
