The Isle of Mull is situated west of Oban and has a shape that resembles a crouching dog with it's neck at Salen. The central part of Mull is mountainous and where Ben More dominates all the smaller lower hills that surround it.
Mull is the second largest island of the Inner Hebrides the largest being the Isle of Skye.
