The mountain ridge seperating Glen Affric and Glen Cannich boasts the highest mountains north of the Great Glen - Mam Sodhail (1181m) and Carn Eighe (1183m). Together with their outlying 'tops' they form a horseshoe around Gleann nam Fiadh.
