Mountain Description for Spidean Mialach

Not support tag.
Spidean Mialach is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Eil to Glen Shiel as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Glen Quoich )

Spidean Mialach is a very fine mountain on the north side of Loch Quioch. The mountain's main aspects contrast with each other with the impressive north face comprised of steep craggy rock with a complicated complex of corries & ridges, and its southern side a gentle grassy slope.

Access is usually via Spidean Mialach's long western ridge that connects to the slightly larger neighbour Gleouraich which is generally climbed on the same outing. Scenically it would be better to climb Spidean Mialach first, as the descent south-west from Gleouraich give superb views over the loch, however its' best to make use of the good path up Gleouraich.

The ascents of the two mountains are considered to be among the easiest in the area.
