Mountain Description for An Socach [Loch Mullardoch]

Not support tag.
An Socach [Loch Mullardoch] is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Glen Cannich to Glen Carron as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Mullardoch )

An Socach is a very remote peak with a crescent shaped summit plateau from which easy slopes run in all directions. To the south, Socach has two ridges, one running south-east and another south-west turning south-east. These ridges and Corries they enclose, have gentle slopes which tend to be boggy. None the less, one ascent route is from Iron Lodge to the south-west onto the south-west ridge. The north ridge leads down into Choire Ghruim and a short east ridge connects to An Riabhachan. It is something of an expedition to reach An Socach so climb it with An Riabhachan if you can.
