Mountain Description for Seana Bhraigh

Not support tag.
Seana Bhraigh is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Broom to Easter Ross as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as The Deargs )

The munro Seana Bhraigh is one of the more remote being situated many miles from the nearest roads rising between the Inverlael Forest and Freevater Forest regions west of Ullapool. It's the eastern outliner of the Ben Deag group of mountains with the summit positioned on an extensive plateau at the head of Strath Mulzie.

The finest feature of Seana Bhraigh are it's 3 grand north facing corries at the head of the strath and an excellent ridge which rises to the south of Loch a' Choire Mhoir upto the eastern promontory Creag an Duine.

Usual access is from the east a private road which runs from Oykel Bridge to Corriemulzie Lodge then to Strath Mulzie which is the main watershed for the narrowest point on the Scottish mainland so be prepared to get your feet wet. The summit of Seana Bhraigh is then reached either by the narrow rocky ridge on the east side or the broad ridge on the west side of Luchd Choire. Alternatively another practical approach is from Inverlael at the head of Loch Broom.
