Not support tag.
Sail Chaorainn is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Glen Affric and Kintail as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Five Sisters of Kintail )

Sail Chaorainn is one of 3 munros which lie on the eastern end of a long chain of hills on the north of Glen Shiel and the most northerly of the 3. Sail Chaorainn lies just over a 1km to the north of its neigbouring munro Sgurr nan Conbhairean which is usually climbed on the same outing along with Carn Ghluasaid. The hill has 2 summits which are nearly equal in height. The first summit is the higher one at 1002 metres and is marked with a smallish cairn; the second cairn which is larger and more northern isn't the munro summit but offer a superior viewpoint.

Usual access is via Sgurr nan Conbhairean from Lundie on the A87 road, 4 kilometres west of the Loch Cluanie dam on a good stalker path.

On the eastern side 250 metres down and marked on the map is Prince Charlie's Cave which is a shelter stone formed by a few bolders. Bonnie Prince Charlie was in hiding here for a week during his escape after defeat at Culloden.
