Mountain Description for Monadh Mor
Monadh Mór is a rounded mountain containing two tops that lies on the south-eastern edge of the Braeriach - Cairn Toul plateau. On the north a ridge with moderate to gentle slopes leads to the plateau of the Moine Mor, from where tracks leads down to Glen Feshie. The west side falls more gently for a mile to Leth-chreag before the abrupt drop to the River Eidart, which separates Monadh Mór from the Mullach Clach a' Bhlàir plateau to the west.
The most impressive feature of Monadh Mór is the eastern flank over Glen Geusachan which has steep rocky slopes.
Of Monadh Mór's two tops the northern one is the summit at 1113 metres being 3 metres higher than the other peak on the southern end.
Mondah Mor is normally climbed with Beinn Bhrothain via a high col, above Coire Cath nam Fionn.
