Mountain Description for Meall nan Ceapraichean
Located south east of Ullapool and north of Loch Glascarnoch Meall nan Ceapraichean and it's sister peak Eididh nan Clach Geala form the northern part of The Deargs. The peak has an easy sloping south eastern ridge which slopes down to the stony Bealach an Lochain Uaine at the head of Gleann na Squaib.
Usual access is a long approach on a good stalker path from Inverlael where Meall nan Ceapraichean can be climbed via its south eastern ridge from Bealach an Lochain Uaine. Alternatively it can be accessed via a col between Eididh nan Clach Geala and Meall nan Ceapraichean which contains a tiny lochain
Meall nan Ceapraichean has good views on the north-west of the summit over to Ben More Assyn, Conival and other northern hills
