Meall Dearg - Am Bodach is an hilltop in Scotand and is located in the area Strath Orchy to Loch Leven as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Glen Coe )

Am Bodach sits on the eastern end of the narrow 2mile (3km) exposed ridge known as the Aonach Eagagh (Notched ridge) and is usually the start of the ridge as it's usually done from east to west.
Directly to the east via a rocky ridge lies the munro Meall Dearg which is the smallest of the two munros on the ridge.

There is no easy summer descend to the south between Am Bodach and Aonach Eagach Stob Coire Leith and in winter should be extended accordingly do to avalanche sites.
