Càrn a' Gheòidh is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area The West Mounth: Blair Atholl to Braemar as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Glen Shee )
Càrn a' Gheòidh is a very accessible hill and when climbed from the Glenshee Ski Centre. It is usually climbed along with the two other munros "The Cairnwell" and "Càrn Aosda".
Càrn a' Gheòidh is quite humble in appearance with gentle sloping moorland and has a three km long north east ridge which connects to the col between "The Cairnwell" and "Càrn Aosda" on the north east.
The summit of the mountain is marked by a circular wind shelter and cairn trig point which is quite refeshing as other summits in the area are littered with aerials and huts.
Carn a' Gheoidh is the highest point over several kilometres and gives a good views of the Cairngorms to the north on a clear day.
