Ben Chonzie is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Lomond to Loch Tay as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Glen Lednock )
Ben Chonzie is a solitary Munro that is the highest point of a large area of moorland and rounded hills between Loch Earn and Loch Tay, and has a broad, flat summit and very few distinguishing features, it is often regarded as one of Scotland's least interesting Munros.
The best view of Ben Chonzie is from Loch Turret and the summit appears as a rounded dome above the craggy south-western side of Glen Turret.
The usual approach is from Crieff by Glen Turret but is sometimes climbed from Commrie by Glen Lednock.
