Mountain Description for Beinn Heasgarnich
Beinn Heasgarnich is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Tay to Loch Rannoch as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Glen Lochay )
Beinn Heasgarnich is large sprawling mountain tucked away between Glen Lochay & Loch Lyon. It's southern slopes that rise above Glen Lochay are featureless and they are mostly grassy with no notable crags or corries like many of it's neighbouring hills. However, it's the highest of the Glen Lochay munros and holds snow well into spring.
Beinn Heasgarnich is usually climbed with it's western neighbour Creag Mhor via a south western ridge that rises fairly steeply above the pass between the to mountians.
Please note the narrow road over the Learg nan Lunn gives close access Beinn Heasgarnich but in winter may be impassible.
