Beinn a'Chreachain is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Tay to Loch Rannoch as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Bridge of Orchy )
Beinn a'Chreachain lies to th north east along the ridge of the Bridge of Orchy peaks.It has a rounded dome to and is the highest mountain in this group of mountains.
The best features of Beinn a'Chreachain are its eastern corries which are the remotest part of the mountain rarely accessed by climbers. On the north west is another fine corrie "Coire an Lochain" which drops down to the Lochan a'Chreachain.
From the summit it has fairly steep slopes with craggy regions on the north and north eastern sides. To the south west of Beinn a'Chreachain is the peak Meall Buidhe (977 metres).
Beinn Achaladair is usually climbed with Beinn a'Chreachain as it sits to the south.
