Mountain Description for Beinn a' Chlachair

Not support tag.
Beinn a' Chlachair is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Ardverikie )

Beinn a' Chlachair is part of a group of munros that lies south of Loch Laggan and is the largest of the group standing at 1087 metre / 3,566 feet. Beinn a' Chlachair is a high isolated plateau with steep crags and corries on its sides and is the most prominent seen from the roadside looking like a whaleback.

Normal access is from either end of the main ridge where stalkers paths give good access. However most guidebooks recommend the broad ridge on the east side of Coire Mor a' Chlachair and round the rim of the corrie to reach Beinn a' Chalachair's summit point.

There area excellent views on a clear day over to Loch Ossian and especially Beinn na Lap to the south.
